Medieval Armor

During the early stages of war and fighting, good armor was hard to come by. They had problems finding the perfect balance of protection, weight and mobility. Medieval armor started off has heavy, too heavy in fact that most men could barely lift a shield if they had full body armor on. Being weighted down and having restricted vision due to a helmet that was not of quality made soldiers and warriors vulnerable to the enemy in multiple ways. When new “technology” was found, medieval armor became very modern and very useful for all of the people that wore it. It became non-restricting, lightweight and most importantly protective.
